Lewis County artist opens new woodworking business

A lifelong artist, Brianne Warner prides herself on using old wooden palettes and making the wood into household centerpieces. Selected to go to an art school in Minnesota after graduating from Lewis County High — Warner, a mother of five — instead graduated from Glenville State College with a psychology and physiology degree. “I decided to go for something else, but I sort of gravitated back to my artwork,” Warner said. “I never ended up pursuing anything until recently. I really like the fact that my artwork is in people’s homes. 336×280 image ad “I really never put a whole lot of thought until how much money I’d be making — it’s an honor to have my artwork in someone’s home or business. It really feels good to have my art appreciated.” Warner, of Berlin, was issued her business license for WarnerCove LLC on April 18. She received her first jigsaw from husband Mike in mid-May. “I’m always researching new ideas, but if I copy something from Pinterest or Etsy, I put my own spin on it.
