Relocation of Renaissance Body Art to Clarks Summit allows for more business

Powell recently moved thetattoo and piercing parlor to Clarks Summit from Scranton and said business has increased since the relocation. “I’ve always dreamed of having a tattoo shop in Clarks Summit,” Powell said. “It’s a wonderful community.” – Renaissance Body Art recently moved to Clarks Summit and into 126 Depot St., a former consignment shop. Owner Jon Powell signed a lease, restored the hardwood floors in one part of the building and re-carpeted the other parts. “I’ve been in business for a long time and I plan on being in business for even longer,” he said. – CLARKS SUMMIT – Jon Powell looked out a window and watched the foot traffic passing on Depot Street late on a recent Saturday afternoon. About a dozen people were on the sidewalks and most were young.
