All Rise Tattoo opens up shop downtown

Another new business is open in downtown Port Huron — and it’s at a location that Brian and Nicole Lariccia, owners of All Rise Tattoo, said had been “the dream.” The business opened its doors earlier this month, starting with hours Tuesday through Saturday as they continue to build up a clientele. They previously had a shop on the city’s north side that would’ve been in business two years this October. But they said an opportunity to occupy the restored space at 916 Military St. was too good to pass up. “I wanted to be a downtown, legitimate street shop, traditional-style tattoo shop,” Brian Lariccia said. “You go to Nashville, you go to Portland, you go to Chicago, Main Street America, and have that street presence, have that window presence, have that atmosphere with the 30-foot ceilings, exposed brick, the hardwood floors. Just have that culture and the history of what tattooing used to be because that’s where my heart’s at.
