The business and others were destroyed after a fire broke out at the cafe in the late afternoon of Jan. 3, 2018. CHARLEVOIX — A devastating fire on Jan. 3, 2018, at the Harbor View Café destroyed the restaurant and displaced multiple businesses in Oleson’s Plaza. Now, nearly a year later, shop owners are beginning to move back in. The Harbor View Café opened on Dec. 26, after owners Chuck and Elizabeth Schilling had an extensive remodel completed of the space they occupied prior to the fire. Wednesday’s opening was a prelude to the ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremonies to take place today, Friday, at the restaurant, Schilling said. “We are pleased to announce the grand reopening of the Harbor View Cafe.
