U.K. visual effects company Outpost VFX has opened Montreal studio

If that sounds good, you might want to send your resumé over to Outpost VFX, just the latest international film and TV special-effects company to set up a studio in Montreal. The company, based in Bournemouth, England, announced this week that it has opened its first international studio and it’s right here in downtown Montreal, a 6,000-square foot facility at the corner of Peel and Ste-Catherine Sts. The Outpost studio began operating just before Christmas and the company is set to go on a major hiring binge. The Montreal studio has just 15 employees at the moment but they’re adding new staffers every week.
